   The Ilse Schwepcke Prizes are launched at the Frankfurt Book Fair.

2. 1 January 2025 (Ilse’s birthday)

   Submissions open for books published in the English and the German language between 1 April 2024 and 31 March 2025.

3. 31 March 2025

   Submissions close.

4. January – August 2025

   Judging period.

5. September 2025

   The two shortlists will be announced.

6. October 2025

   The first Ilse Schwepcke Prizes are awarded at the Frankfurt Book Fair.
